SOLID A+++++++
This is, thus far, my absolute favorite HC/ODY/HF episode. Good lord. That was so epic I can't even begin to find words to describe it. This is what true Star Trek should always be. AMAZING job, everyone involved. Absolutely amazing. |

Despite knowing the story, I was still pleasantly surprised at the final result. It was lovely to see some subtle camera movement, too. Nice to see Admiral Alice Tough-As-Nails Rand back, and I thoroughly enjoyed Melodee's character. Helena, while a sister series to Odyssey, is definitely proving her diversity and difference from her sibling.

gave it an A, the music was great, the characters absolutely intriguing and the story was way beyond anything I'd have expected. this episode did something even few "official" episodes accomplished for me, it had me sitting there open mouthed and speechless. that was one wow!

Well, didn't get a newsletter informing of the release. AGAIN.
This needs to be sorted out, really it does. |

The newsletter goes out usually the weekend after the chat room release (which was last night), so this Saturday or Sunday. If you don't have it by Monday, *then* you should let us know, or try re-subscribing via the Newsletter link on the main website. Hope that helps.

Sorry, but as mentioned by Rob, there was no newsletter release, the chat page on the website is the place to spot early releases such as this. STILL. No need to get snippy. And, way back during HF S6 and S7, I thought the newsletter used to get sent out before and announce the chat? |

The chat room has always been the first place to see episodes. Followed by newsletter subscribers, then wide release.
I have no idea what "STILL" stands for, but I wouldn't assume it was meant to be snarky. I doubt Michael has a mean bone in his body. Rob |

No need to get snippy. And, way back during HF S6 and S7, I thought the newsletter used to get sent out before and announce the chat? I don't see hudson's remarks as snippy. In fact... ... It has been posted elsewhere, but here's how things are set up:
The best advice would be to check the chatroom schedule to see what is going to be released (previews, bloopers, episodes, special content). When a newsletter arrives, it will feature information on upcoming events (like the Excelsior Ball), cast/crew profiles and interviews, and various articles related to the productions. [Edit: clarified sequence of events] |

Maybe it might be worth implementing something to inform people when an episode is going to be released in sneak peek, sent to board members only?
Admittedly, I don't check the website - and the bookmark I have on my computer comes directly to the board, not to the website, so I usually rely on the message announcer at the top of the board to tell me about chats and the message at the top of the board is still saying the message about trekmovie.com and Beta Shield which it's been doing since the 5th. |
