I have brought Hidden frontiers productions to attention of number of others. Some of the feedback I got was a good point if you are a newcomer to Odyssey, Helena Chronicles, Federation One, Operation Beta Shield (and indeed Intrepid). Where do you start? and the plotlines that come from the various episodes to build the arcs and larger story. Theres currently no sequential order timeline wise to watch them in, unless you have been following the releases.
It may be a thought that has already been passed around, recommending a "released" date list be placed in the Episodes main index, So a new viewer who wanted to catch up and enjoy the cross show story thats been created and started from say Odysseys Ep 1 Illad, Ep 2 Wine Dark Sea. Then to Helena Chronicles Ep1 Sanctuary Lost (which i think was the order they came out) and so on. This post has been edited by KristianTNA: Nov 4 2008, 04:39 PM |

I would personally like to see that Chronology linked to somewhere more visible. I get e-mails (through the contact page) asking the very same question about episode order, usually at least 2-3 per week. I always direct them to the Wiki but it would be helpful to have that easier to find.

I like the idea that the web page be modified slightly to show the original release date for each episode. That would make it accessible outside the Wiki page as well.

I could go on another jihad and update that stuff pretty quickly, methinks. |

Jazzy. I wonder where Intrepid fits onto that nifty CNN-style graphic?

Over at CNN International... Nick if you want me to recreate to add in the Intrepid events, please ask the lackey living with me to provide me the times... I think Mike has the dates already. Talking of which, there are the two Intrepid shorts to add to the timeline as well. The stardates for those can be found on the episode pages in the wiki. |

Wow! I really like the idea of that graphic presentation of the rather complex arc of the Odyssey saga. I can see the order of events and how all the shows inter-relate. Plus, for any folks new to the Odyssey, Helena, or FedOne shows, this gives them a clear order in which to watch them. You might be able to clean it up a bit, add some fancy schmancy graphics, maybe make the graphics clickable to the download page (??) but all in all I think it is a good way to show the interlocked (twisted!) storyline of the shows. If Ryan or Andrew or one of the other Graphic Gods would be willing to take it to that level, I would love to be used...

I added a Hidden Frontier timeline page to the Star Trek Expanded Universe wiki a little while back. I hope it does not contain too many lies. :-) Comments and suggestions gratefully welcomed, of course.
