I know it might be way too early in the game to start guessing what might happen in the end, but I was just wondering what other people think. Your theories can be about possible crossovers with Helena or just about the Odyssey by itself.

in about 200 years, the feds (or what is left and reformed from them) will make it to about 3/4 of the way from the original trip of the Odyssey and will find a battered drifting hulk and skeletons that will be all that remain after the Archinans eventually catch up to the ship and have one last pitched battle that sees the ship hulled several times and a final message from a couple of survivors lead by Gillen who survived for a couple weeks before starving and freezing to death....

Well, this just proves that there's someone with a grim sence of reality in every group. Here's my theory:

The show will end not as a show, but as a crossover movie featuring the cast and crew from Helena, Excelsior, Federation One, and Intrepid. There's going to be a big conflict between Helena, Excelsior, and Federation One. This can either be a result of the Helena being marked as renagades or they might have been caught and are being put on trial. While this is happening, Intrepid will be pulling a few favors from Comm. Shelby and investigate further into the Odyssey. At the same time, Odyssey will be leading a massive counter offensive against the Archin by sideing with other Andromada Galaxy species and with the help of Cacus bring the reign of the Majan to an end. By helping the Andromada species with the current problems in their galaxy, Odyssey will return to our galaxy via a second wormhole gate the Archin created and somehow convince Starfleet Command to drop the charges on Helena.

I still don't know what may become of the fate of Nevin and Aster.

The Helena will be destroyed in an omags explosion as they try to use the omega transwarp/ slipstream whatever it is. The Odyssey will do a Voyager and return sooner then expected but crewed by romulans and one human, (Dr Owen Vaughn) with T'Lorra as captain. In the brig Nevin is given the news of Aster's death and comforted by Maya Stadi. They are both are deposited as the only surviving, (stupidly) loyal Starfleet officers in a shutlecraft on the Romulan border before the Odyessy is taken to Remus for technical study and reverse engineeering.

The Archein pour out of a new artifical wormhole and invade the Federation ind stead of the Romulan Empire, as the result of a treaty, signed by the New Grand Majan, (after she finally, 'disposed' of her mother) and T'Lorra. At the end we see Nevin and Stadi's marriage inside an Archien prison cell. icon_smile.gif

It's not that bad:
1. Nevins finds a new love.
2. The Romulans are in no longer in immediate danger from being conquer plus have advanced Fed and Archein tech.
3. We get to see an omega explosion in the Andromeda galaxy.
4. T'lorra and Dr Vaughn possibly a couple?
5. The potientail for an audio series 8 of Hidden Frontier or another specail, (either featuring the Dominion as saviours and allies and the suden turn on the archeins by the Romulans) to sort it all out.

Sounds good to me. icon_smile.gif

Okay... I'll try...

1.) T'Lorra will lose her momory, believe she's from Lord of the Rings, and will abandon Odyssey, to get back with her percieved fiance, Legolas. They are all shocked when she does find him, and the wedding is presided by Gandalf.

2.) Vaughn will start operating on people whilst listening to Klingon Opera, to drown out the screams, because they've run out of anathesia...

3.) Maya Stadi goes all dark and sinister when she discovers that she's in fact the daughter of the Majan Seram. After sleeping with Cacaus...

4.) Ro Nevin learns that the destruction of the Andromeda galaxy is in fact all part of an insidious plan hatched by Tribbles, a poodle, the Telletubbies, and Zelda from Terrahawks.

5.) The Odyssey becomes a major cultural icon after being test driven by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. The Stig tunes up the engines, and they are able to get back home.

6.) The crew's morale will get so bad they hire an alcoholic chipmunk as counsellor. It goes nuts. Preferably Acorns...

7.) Ensign Gillen, fed up at not being taken seriously, starts turning up for his shifts in a Pink tutu, and staff meetings in a leopard skin printed leotard. Not understanding, the crew start being supporteive, and start calling him Lucy for some bizarre reason.

8.) After learning her real heritage, Stadi jumps dimensions, and starts dating Davros from Doctor Who.

I hope these help....

On a more serious note:
Odyssey:
-Vaughn and T'lorra become "comfortable allies"... I wouldn't even call it a friendship, unless it develops into one of those "I'll kill you for that", "You said that last week too you know" friendships...
-Stadi pushes for a closer relationship to Ro, and perhaps even develops one... although temporary...
-The Archein grip on the area's tighter than people are really expecting, even after the episode that gives us the truth about Casius...However...
-The Arceins are on headed for a fairly ugly civil war, Casius is returned to the faction led by the General, but this faction's too small to win... until some kind of "agreement" is made with Odyssey, and the remaining Kelvins

Federation One:
-MacCabe gains more evidence at Vridgehai, and convinces Mara he's not just tunnel visioned...
-Despite such damning evidence, it's not really enough to take to court against Vindenpawl, but more than enough to hand to Shelby
-Section 31 interferes... not sure how, or for who's benifit... but they're here...
-The Orion Syndicate changes tones... Starfleet has twice in no time pissed them off... but one of The Syndicate's plans is farther along, and a secret better kept, than anybody imagined... and their gloves come off. Piracy doesn't just "go up" it skyrockets, and with force mixes that make even escorted convoys easy targets... tag on some real territorial grabs here.
-Vindenpawl tries to "work things out" with the Orions... the people she's seduced see it as another success for her
-Rand panics at the information MacCabe and Shelby bring to her, and refuses to act on it... when Shelby decides to act on it... Rand declares her rogue as well.

Helena:
-Pheonix keeps hounding Helena, meanwhile Heta'an and Maxwell keep bleeding more of 31's intentions to the audience...
-Reparing the damage to subspace is going to be messy, involve technology that exists, but Helena's going to have to acquire
-Heta'an's interrogation of Aster proves fatal
-Helena runs into the now rogue Excelsior, it's not a happy reunion, but after some friction, they decide to stand together, and so begins:

Intrepid:
-More Orion Syndicate conflicts, a few near losses during Convoy/Colony protection duties
-Section 31's mucking has pissed them off, but they can't do anything about it right now...
-Helena, Excelsior, and Columbia have just "unlawfully and wrongly accused the current Federation President of atrocities" and Intrepid (after the Orions have been pacified) is brought back along side Pheonix and Independence to try and stop them
-Maxwell and/or Heta'an are exposed to the Intrepid crew... Fighting breaks out in the task group...

Somewhere in all series:
-People start dying of an unknown disease

Conclusion:

3 pronged Federation Civil war, followed by a nasty epidemic, causes the fall of the federation as a single entity...
Years latter we end up with Darker Projects:Lost Frontier storyline...

Though they would make good couples, ( Ro - Stadi, Vaughn - T'lorra) it's too son for relationships to be developing in any clear direction. The cross nation spy relationship can work in more then the James Bond style as proved time and again in the UK tv show Spooks season 2, with Tom Quinn (MI5) and Christine Dale, (CIA).
An Archein civil war would make a good story arc for a season, but would result in the loss of the General Morrigu which would be a shame. The ideal catyalst for the civil war would be the assasination of the Grand Sarem. Also the return of Tybiss Mallim would be no great suprise.

It's also doubtful that anyone will be able to make a move against President Vindenpawl, (no matter how much it is needed) because she has seduced most of her staff and the sincerity of McCabe's hatred for her is doubtful in my mind. I wouldn't be suprised if she ended up starting a war between the Federation and the Romulans or Cardassians. A Federation civil war though is a little fanciful. As said in the Darker Projects: The Section 31 Files, planets that leave the Federation return after a few months because they found it too hard fending for themselves.

With Majan Seram and General Morrigu finally pitted against each other, Odyssey makes use of the vacuum of power and installs Caecus as the new Emperor of the Archein. With someone so depressed they are not as much of a danger to the Federation any more.

I have a feeling Morrigu and Sarem are siblings. Don't ask me why, but it's just a feeling, I think as the series unfolds this will be revealed along with other dirty laundry tied to the Majan before she is defeated and Caecus becomes Emperor after forming an alliance of some kind with the Federation.

I think T'Lorra will lose her vision or die due to a problem with her implants while in battle.

I would love to see a crossover with HC and ODY, especially something involving Caecus and Dao in the same room, we know you can do it Adam! *encourages* (You all know you want to see it too).

Ro and Corey will meet again, have their long awaited honeymoon on Risa and run a ship together as Captain and XO.

I also would love to see some sort of sneaky, underhanded relationship between Stadi and Vaughn, just because it would be so out of left field.

I think something sane and more plausible would happen. I can't say what it is, but it's definitely include establishment of two-way travel between Andromeda and Federation or perhaps even Romulan space. Helena Chronicles will somehow become essential to peace negotiations with Archeins, and in light of what has transpired, all charges against Helena will be dropped. In Federation One, I expect some sort of conflict with the Romulans which will put ground for peace with Feds and establishment of mutual starbase on the edge of Romulan, Klingon and Federation Space, near the Archein wormhole terminus icon_biggrin.gif Isn't that convenient icon_smile.gif And then we'll have Hidden Frontier: The Next Generation icon_biggrin.gif

If not a Romulan/Archien alliance then maybe this: The Odyessy returns through the Archien transwarp gate thingy but passes The Helena halfway through. The Odyessy makes it back to Federation space but the Helena is still in the transwarp tunnel when the omega it is carrying is destabilised by the ship hitting one of the side of the tunnel as it turns around to follow the Odyessy home meaning a large omega explosion which closes the transwarp tunnel and makes it impossible, (or so is believed) for another transwarp/wormhole to the Andromeda galaxy to be built again.

1. Ro is faced with Coreys death which would make a great character peice.
2. It's reminisnt of the Voyager finale but unlike Endgame leaves the door open for the Archiens to return later on.
3. The first onscreen Star Trek funeral for an entire ships crew and the emotion repercussions.
4. An omega explosion.

Odyssey comes across a giant space shark, their only course of action is to "jump" it, and... cliffhanger.

Character drama, an onscreen funeral, proabaly the only non-cheesy use of flashbacks, and because everyone is hoping they get back together. icon_smile.gif
