With audio episode 1 recorded and in production, who from the Star Trek Grissom prose stories would you like to see play a bigger role in upcoming prose and future audio stories?
We value your opinion! This post has been edited by SPT: Nov 30 2009, 06:19 AM |

HMMMM.....I'll have to discuss this seriously with our writing team of 6. How much of a role can we give Muggle, given that the actor who plays him is such a diva!!??
We don't want the audio cast overSHADOWed by our canine star! This is most worrying. Perhaps we should limit his role in the prose so as not to effect the audio? But then the mutts agent, Stephen Otter, might sue me. What to do??? |

Stephen T. Otter is not licensed to practice law in Ireland. He does, however, have many river otter cousins there, and can encourage them to cause mischief and mayhem until Shadow gets his due. A few extra "aaarffs" and "yips" ought to do it. |

Well, I have my own personal favorite (ja, I du!) But I think it is important to keep voting for Shadow (who plays "Muggle" the lovable dog) especially since the Andorian vote is important to this series (the Chief Medical Officer is Andorian). ![]() |

Rick, 'Muggle' is delighted with the memorabilia, the first piece of official Grissom merchandise. Hmmmmm.....
Andrew, since Morrow is head honcho at Starfleet, he is not officially part of the Grissom crew. But of course, he is VERY important to Grissom productions and our story! SP |

Should I be upset that I'm losing to a dog? Nahhh, hard to say who's better since we got so little of these characters on screen.

It seems Saavik is giving Muggle a run for his money!! He won't be best pleased. After all, Shadow points out that it was Muggles attack on Terlis that saved the day in Episode 1!

Leo says it is only logical that Muggle should win. And he gives Muggle a high five paw and meow.

Muggle is recovering from all of the adulation from the Dublin shoot, and his rare on set appearance with Stephen Otter. He thanks his fans for keeping him ahead in the posse.

I'm just so HAPPY that you guys did what no other professional or fan production has done until now.... you brought Saavik back from the writers' grave. After building her up in the comics following TWOK, they reduced her to a cameo in Star Trek IV. They almost brought her into ST VI, but almost doesn't count. She appeared in a few novels that made it seem like she really had a character worth presenting. Then.... rumors.... a planned appearance in TNG! But it didn't happen. It almost became a canon-breaking cameo with Kelsey Grammar, but thank goodness that didn't happen. She could've been Captain of a starship in DS9 but nothing. I got excited when I saw that she was to serve on board the Lexington, but that fan production hasn't released an episode yet. I've begged a fan production or two to introduce her. Heck, she could've been growing old with Spock in the new ST XI! But after all this, still no Saavik!
Until now. Grissom, you've done it! Now, don't you dare change the ending and kill her off! (I'm confident now that we'll see her serving on board Lexington! They seem to be ramping up.) |
