Dear all,
I have recently watched all of the Voyages of the USS Angeles episodes and I have enjoyed every last one of them. However, I am a bit surprised you can't download them, just as you can with Hidden Frontier. Mind if I ask why that is? And is there a chance that you can download the episodes in the near future. Thanks.....and as always good luck  Daniel |

Angeles episodes are downloadable through Vimeo, I believe as m4v's or MP4's, can't remember which. Hudson can probably clarify, but it is possible and very easy to do.

The MP4 versions should be able to be downloaded from Vimeo (bottom right of the viewing screen) but you probably have to have a Vimeo account.

I can vouch that a free basic account on Vimeo is enough for downloading the Angeles episodes. :-)

Um, they were MP4 I think because that's what the source files were. Not 100% sure though.

ya all know mp4 is a part of the qt format family, basically using the same containers for its file structure.....just about everything you get from itunes is in that same format.
also mp4's can be read in QT so you shouldn't have any problems |

OK, I'll ask this question in a different way: Why are the episodes on Vimeo instead of being downloadable from this site (www.hiddenfrontier.com) where HF and its (video) spin-offs were and should still be downloadable here?
It might be a bit off topic, what I'd like to ask next, but why are the Frontier Guard season one episodes also not downloadable via this site or some mirrors, too? |

They chose and setup the distribution mechanism. The links on the HFP website are for convenience, as the series is the "progenitor" of Hidden Frontier and its various spin-offs. This is also why ANG 2.01 was released both by the Angeles and HFP - it was a co-production. Future audio releases of ANG will likely be handled the same way. Not sure about the Angeles movie - then again, it's not ready yet. As to the second question...there may be a thread over the FG forum for this, but I'll just say that, if memory serves, it had to do with the intended distribution model, which did not include downloading. |

any chance their could be a new fanfilms series of the angelus since odyssey fedone and helena are getting wraped up shouldn't a new serie should be comming soon |
