Are there any plans you can tell us about what Season 2 will bring us (assuming there is one
Just as long as we don't find out this was in fact the ark was once owned by Noah How about finding out from the ark that Connor et al, will need to find various lost tribes of Earth who were kidnapped from Earth in a similar way to him, i.e. Atlanteans etc (yes, I know this has probably been done by a large number of Sci-fi shows, but if you don't ask you don't get lol) |

In Season 2, we discover a lost tribe of Otter-oids who....
In Season 2, we discover a planet of nudists, and the guys with the little black tape have fits chasing everyone around. (Hey, who attaches the black tape, anyway? In Season 2, Noah (played by George Burns and John Denver, despite both being inconveniently deceased) reveals he can't get enough hoovertronium for his space ark, despite jettisoning all the critters with more than four legs, and so.... In Season 2, we find out those pesky Kytorians / Aqarii / Whoevers have a shocking craving for.... In Season 2, Fetch reveals a secret passion for a certain hobby.... In Season 2, Fetch's evil twin tries to sleep with everyone on board.... Shockingly, everyone on board complies.... (Er, no. Really. No.) OK, maybe just Connor.... (Er, no. Really. NO. Not gonna happen.) ...Just kidding around! Looking forward to Season 2. |

A real question for Season 2:
So far, we have no idea why some of the cadets look down on Tawn. Also, Fetch keeps trying to win a friend or a boyfriend, but with not much success. It might be time to show people do need him. At the same time, showing a guy who wants and needs to be liked so much, and having him get thwarted in very commonplace ways is realistic. ----- OK, one more fun, snarky remark: In Season 2, Cadet Gribb's ego collides with a Throbdoodle particle cascade, and his ego grows the size of the local star system. (Oh wait, it already is....) Hmm.... Gribb's ____ grows.... (Uh, no, we won't even *try* to get that one past the censors or moderators. Ahem.) |

The vignette for Jacek Tawn reveals a good reason why some of the other cadets look down on him. *wink*

The fact that no one seems to be answering the question "when will we know about season 2?" leads me to believe that there may not be a season 2.

The fact that no one seems to be answering the question "when will we know about season 2?" leads me to believe that there may not be a season 2. Actually, it's more a case of there will be one, but the powers that be are maintaining an attitude of "I'm not telling." |

I'm not sure where to write this comment, so I decided here.
I finally got around to watching some episodes of Frontier Guard. It was definitely not what I expect. It was a great surprise. I just wanted to congratulate all of you for all your great work and I hope that you keep it up. Your creativity is out of this world. I just wanted to express my gratitude for producing these episodes for us fans to watch!! Thank you! |

Is there going to be a season 2 at some point, or has this fizzled?

In the sense that will there be a season that directly follows on the cast and green screen episodes of Frontier Guard Season 1 within the next few months, sadly the answer is no.
But FG season 1 did much of what it set out to do: It created a new universe free of the regulations and rules of the Star Trek universe. It proved low budget green screen could look decent on a lightening fast release schedule. It drove people together to create something special. And it had a significant following, not as big as Trek obviously, but bug enough to prove there is a demand there for space-based sci-fi. But because I put all my time, effort and money into it (and Star Trek), I ran out of money after the first season and had to go back to work. Where this story goes from here and my future plans for the show will all be revealed during the release of Odyssey this Saturday! (and yes there is a bit of a trek connection!) Stay tuned! Rob |

Have you guys ever considered hitting Vodo.net for a distribution channel? I'm watching 'Pioneer One' and 'A Lonely Place for Dying' there. Great stuff, will definitely be contributing towards those as soon as I get back to work & clear up some outstanding bills...
