What was the name of D'Goz's Bird-of-Prey? I'm not quite sure I caught it when reviewing HC 2.03....

I'm not sure of the spelling, but the name was pronounced Quon'wii.

According to my script, it's spelled: QanWi.

D'Goz's ship in the Helena Chronicles is indeed the QanWi.
It means "I'm Old". The QanWi is sort of introduced in Shades of Grey, when SFI informs Knapp that D'Goz's house only has his flagship, and a couple of decrepit Birds of Prey in dry dock awaiting repairs. Shades of Grey took place during HF's 3rd season. By the time HC comes around, D'Goz's only asset is one of those Birds of Prey. D'Goz, who's failed repeatedly to die in battle, named the ship QanWi both as a statement about himself, and a statement about the ship. HD |

Say what you want, but my character was old as dirt, yet managed to be an ace pilot that helped rescue the Helena, and fly around a minefield!
