Oh dear, oh dear.

Here enjoy these complimentary bath toys of a radio and a toaster.

I could tell my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

(Sounds funnier coming from Rodney)

Remember that the following thread gives you a chance to contribute a joke; some of which were used in the current tribute.
    http://forums.hiddenfrontier.com/index.php....html#msg178618

Let's all enjoy the power of laughter.  And hey, if we don't find it funny, let's respect (deliberate pun) those who do.

Put up a poll.

I definitely want to see more clips of "Rodney does Star Trek"  as a regular feature!!

(And readers of this thread shouldn't mistake our good natured ribbing about how "awful" it is as real complaints.  Everyone who has posted here loves HF's Rodney.  It's part of the fun to not give him any respect -- even when we're groaning and laughing).

Andrew can come up with this things on the fly, in real time, which makes it even more amazing.  And to me, his delivery is just as I remember Rodney from late night talk shows and movies.  During Monday Night Chat, where Rodney often pops up, sometimes it gets infectious and everyone wants in on the act.  Rob seems to have even caught the Rodney bug.

Anyway, from me, both Andrew and Rodney get a LOT of respect  (but please, don't tell him so... it would ruin the act).

Emphasis mine.

Don't remind me. Please.

It makes me weep.  :(

Awww you poor thing you just get "no respect".
Captain Serek
The Joker always about the healing powers of laughter, then again, he was a homicidal maniac with a permanant grin on his face.  :wtf: :bulb:

I have 3 full years on my PhD... I'm sure I could invest a few weeks into trying to brew you an antidote in the lab... after all it's for the greater good of all people resilient to Rodney-type shiver- & cringe-inducing humor... actually, make that "humor".
Thalek
Wow!  He actually used three of my jokes!

Thanks, Andrew!

:yipee:

(Tried to find an "I am not worthy" emoticon, but they don't seem to have one.)
Captain Serek
A Tellarite with 3 jokes, what is this universe coming to? Next thing you have a Vulcan doing Hamlet.  :wtf:
Glenn
... or a Klingon doing stand-up. Take my Worf... please, take him! ;D
Thalek
"For example, take my Worf.  Please!  No, no, not that one, that's where I tie up the boat!"
kujhawker
And Groanfest 2007 continues.
Glenn
And then there was that time on Risa... the exotic dancer with spots from head to toe. She got all offended when I tried to tip her five bucks - she said "Whaddaya think I am, some kind of cheap Trill?" Yeeeeghhhhhh, fuggeddit!

Giving this one a quick bump!  Which joke was your favorite?!

I can't see it where I'm from at this time. I'm at the hospital, waiting for an admission/transfer, and this particular hospital system blocks all streaming.

I just want to make a request for some Trek jokes, Lewis Black style.
Captain Serek
Next of course is our Klingon-Betazed counselor.........I feel your pain...and like it.  ;D

The one about his new translator.

Mr. Caves, Mr. Foster - you are, without a doubt, sick. And I love it. ;D

I liked it. I thought it was funny. Good job!
